Andrew Tabiti tells fans he will stay ‘humble in victory and defeat’ after Saturday’s WBSS Semi-Final KO defeat against Yuniel Dorticos at the Arena Riga.

Former WBA cruiserweight belt-holder and the new IBF champ, Yuniel Dorticos, lived up to his moniker ‘The KO Doctor’ by halting Andrew Tabiti with a one-shot right-hander in the 10th round of their semi-final in Riga, Latvia.

“I came ready, I came prepared, and I knew the knockout would come, not to take anything away from Tabiti, he’s a great talent,” said Dorticos.

Tabiti was putting in effective work to the body throughout the bout and managed to give Dorticos a frustrating night until the Cuban smashed home a stunning finish.

“I am a professional Boxer with no regrets and no excuses,” wrote Tabiti on Instagram after his first career loss.

“It just wasn’t in Gods Plan this time. @dorticosko was a worthy opponent and I wish many more blessings for him and his family. I will always stay humble in Victory or Defeat. This is just another Learning Experience.

It may not be the one that we wanted but it’s one that comes in this profession. “Grinding all my life, Sacrificed, Hustled paid the price, want a slice, got to roll the dice, That’s why I been grinding all my life” by @nipseyhussle. Thank you all with Love. Beast!”
